True friendship develops on the basis of human affection

I am a true believer of everything happens for a reason. The people that cross our paths are meant to come and go in order for us to learn. We all have friends who remain with us, friends who come in our lives but soon depart and friends who just pass by our daily lives.

Time isn’t all important when it comes to friendship. There could be someone who you have known for a little while and they will have better intentions for you than those who have been around a while.

When one friendship comes to an end, it’s better to keep the memories of the happy times you spent together. Happiness is not something out there or something that one needs to do. It’s inside you. Happiness is a state of mind. It takes persistence.

You need to be full of happiness, remember no one is going to love you or appreciate you, unless you are not going to love or appreciate yourself. People appreciate those, who appreciate themselves.

Life is mysterious and relationships are just another addition to our journey. Learn to love the people around you. Everyone needs a friend by their side, even if it is just for a hug or to see someone else smile.

As the Dalai Lama mentions: True friendship develops on the basis of human affection, not money or power.
