Bob Dylan wins the 2016 Nobel Prize for Literature!
“The singer and songwriter Bob Dylan was awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature on Thursday for “having created new poetic expressions within the great American song tradition,” in the words of the Swedish Academy.” New York Times
The 1967 Dylan film Don’t Look Back was one of the key inspirations for Road To Peace in it’s fly on wall style and honest portrayal of the great singer-songwriter. Not least because his humanity shone through, and this is something we were keen to replicate with the Dalai Lama. This is one of main reasons Dalai Lama comes across with so much intimacy in our film.
Thank you Bob Dylan for all that you do and what you inspire in the world!
